Most of us would be able to recall our schooling days where we would have to lug around a backpack overloaded with text books. In fact, students these days also go through the same thing. The only difference is that their backpacks now come in various designs and colours. Long gone are the days of boring two strapped and box shaped backpacks.
School kids nowadays tend to change their school bags more than twice per year! Why? Blame it on the endless choices of bags available. School kids from years back would attempt to look cool by only using ONE strap of their two strapped backpack. Thinking back, that just gave us shoulder aches and now when I think about it, we did not look cool at all. Now, people have come up with the idea of sling backpacks. Sling bags works the same as any backpack, there is still ample of space to chuck all those heavy text books in. The difference between sling backpacks and normal backpacks is the number of straps on it and also the way one would carry it. Sling bags have only one strap and it is usually hanged on one shoulder or it can also be hanged across the body.
Sling backpacks are not meant solely for school children. Anyone from lecturers to travellers could use sling bags. The main reason why sling backpacks are such a hit is because of its versatility. You do not have to be a certain age in order to use these sling backpacks. These types of bags are also safer. When a person uses those two strapped backpacks, they will most probably not realize it if someone opens their bag from the back and steals something.
